I've seen loads of animation UUIDs in the forum and have looked at ripping a few myself. I question is, is it possible to play them in an AO without uploading? I thought the play animation comment in LSL only worked if the animation file was present in the object. Or is it possible to play them in FireStore by UUID?

Cheers

You can also use Anim UUID's via gestures too, set a timer between each anim so it cycles.
UUID1
60 sec timer
UUID2
60 sec timer
ETC

Better for Dance anims that normal standing ones but does work for both, same for if you want to use silent commands for collars and stuff, Gestures have a lot of capabilities.

I am still experiencing problems with this style of scripting but I have had good results from animations with the UUID function.

If you rip animations you have themin your SL invetory already and you can choose to download them to your desktop or not.
If you have them in your inventory, you can simply use the uuids on a nc and place it in your AO and it will run normally.
If you don't have them in your inventory, they will not play with UUID alone.
