im new and i do some conversions for personal use, but i also create a few items and I might just be like intermediate when it comes to blender. i can build, rig things, edit etc.

Just wanted to say hi, i'm pretty much an amateur on copybotting/3D editting stuff but i do pretend uploading here some vista/akeyo AO's i've bough over the years. Other than that i hope to learn more and contribute to the forum.

Is it possible to bring ripped mesh into Blender and figure out the UV map? That would be my only purpose for ripping it. I have some full perm clothing where the link to download this stuff is broken because the creator has unfortunately died. If it is possible, I don't mind sharing it as an example to learn from and to encourage others working together in this matter too to salvage worthwhile things. Otherwise, this stuff is now trash that's only texturable and not necessarily professionally customizable. Thanks.

Hi all!
I have been ripping from SL to OpenSim since a few years in the background, doing mostly rigged mesh. I know pretty well the process even if I'm not an expert. I don't do this all the time, so tools and methods can change, but with some savvy, it's not that difficult to get back in.
