yes looks like this dress as more faces, there are scripts for it, 
try another way, rezz the dress on the ground,
edit parts and look or it shows all the same texture

i dowloaded the dress too, there is a front and back dress textures in it, 
so rezz the dress on the ground, select textures,/face
add the front and back seperate if you use textures,
if you using uuid number you can do the same

Meli Imako has in her packages most of the times a more faces script
TD Templates has a hud creator kit, full perm also with more faces script
i will look by both or the scripts is also full perm, i will let you know later

that dress has 3 faces, f
- front 
- back
- straps
it looks like or i have the same problem when i use the UUID numbers so i will upload the original textures what i took for the demo
i will let you know later again or it will work better with the textures

Have you tried setting LOD to zero, that usually works fine for me

and the link from the hud looks like the same as from TD Templates that one is also with 8 buttons and it was also free
