on the "object" that is "no rez" all you need to do is find a parcel of land in second life you can "rez" on but has scripts disabled...if you are permimum or own land can do this easily on parcel via land settings ..if not you need to find a "no script" sand box...then you can just rez the item and the stupid no rez script will not return it because it cannot activate in no script running parcel/land :) i hope this helps in fixing your issue ..
p.s mesh items can be scripted for no rez ....which is just as dumb as resizer scripts ...imho ll should force ppl tosell things to sell anything both copy and modify permissions :/ for end user ..as that is personal use :/
