when i save texture or paste uuid its not letting it happen, says unable to download and pasting is just grey

I normally create a new skin in inventory, then wear it.
then I edit it (RMB on skin in inventory > Edit)
LMB on head tattoo > paste UUID into text box > apply UUID.

Repeat for Upper Tattoo & Lower Tattoo
Then Save.

If your skin is grey, most likely you have a baked texture UUID, not the real skin UUID.

last time i did it it was gray and then showed the skin, now it wont show at all i put in the uuid and now it doesnt show anything its still gray ever since the update so how do i do it?if its baked then how do i stil put it in, ive done all what you said and it stil isnt working
