Ok, going to re-ask since my last attempt got randomly split off (and yes, it's directly relevant to the original post above, so please don't split this one). The instructions mentioned you should probably use an alt to keep your main from getting banned in SL. It also mentions you can rip stuff from both other people AND/OR from your own model/inventory. My question, then, is as such: if you want to rip stuff from your own avatar or inventory (probably from your main account), then is it safe to use your main in your rip-capable viewer of choice, or should you use an alt instead while running your main in a separate viewer? The instructions are unclear on this, due to either translation or grammar issues.
