An important announcement!
We have received a report that manually attaching the garment via CTRL+P is resulting in the skin weight box not activating ins SL.
To avoid this please use the avastar bind when attaching garments to your body.
Please follow the new process if you are running into this error
Select the Cloth first Then Skeleton
If your garment is in the T pose and you did not move any of the bones (I.e: spreading the legs apart) you can use the normal avastar binding
as shown in the screenshot:
Once the garment is attached to skeleton and the weight painting is to your liking . run the " Remove unused vetex group script :
When importing make sure your low and lowest is set to 0
and you'll get a lower upload rate

if you have spread the legs apart then you check the same boxes as shown in the screenshot but you do alter to rest poseOnce the garment is attached to skeleton and the weight painting is to your liking . run the " Remove unused vetex group script :

when the script is finished running you can then export from blender and import into SLWhen importing make sure your low and lowest is set to 0
