Any good general place to hang out?

I joined sl in 2008 and the start point for me was Plum. It closed a few years ago as start point so no new people come. I do not like trolls. I hate voice... So I hate most start welcome areas. I hang out at stores now.

Is there any good start place or hangout anyone knows of? And I am in USA, and do not know other languages well.

I am a copybot since 2008 since before Incognito. I lost my sim and main avatar and I just want to know a good general area to be idle at. I do not trust voice because I am afraid of people grabbing IP.

Any ideas?
