At this point, you're probably wondering, gee, I'd love to join GoonSquad, but I really don't know what the hell I'm doing.

This guide will help get you started. It may seem like a lot of stuff to download, but it's not too hard to configure.
Contents

1 Step 1: Join GoonSquad Forum
2 Step 2: Download a Viewer
3 Step 3: Download Vidalia/Tor
4 Step 4: Download Proxifier
5 Step 5: Download Fraps
6 Step 6: Making SL Accounts

Step 1: Join GoonSquad Forum

This step is simple, join Goonsquad forum and Introduce yourself in the introduction section. Be sure to point out any specific talents you have like coding, hacking etc.. This is useful so we can gauge your value in the Squad. Most Newfags are useless so it is very important that you learn how to shot web.

Step 2: Download a Viewer

A "hacked" viewer is THE most important part of evading bans in Second Life. It fakes hardware ID, processor ID, and other information so that you do not have to rely on complicated tools to change them every time you get banned. Not only that, but the official Second Life client released by Linden Labs is backdoored and tracks inventory, money, chat, and other information to allow them to oversee everything within the game, and while you may think it's impossible to track that many users, they have around 400 Lindens that sit there and watch that crap, specifically looking for us.

A hacked viewer is capable of many things, but one thing it cannot do is evade IP bans. IP Address is short for Internet Protocol Address, which is used on the Internet to identify your specific computer or router from others. Think of it like a street address that gives other computers directions on how to find you. There are two types of these IP addresses, public and private.

A private address is used exclusively within a home network and usually looks like 192.168.x.x. This is not the one you need to be concerned with.

The public address is the one that the Lindens ban, and it looks something like 208.69.32.132. This is what other computers will see on the Internet when they try to interact with you. There's also different versions of IPs (IPv4 and IPv6) but we don't need to go into detail on that here.

TOR is a network anonymizer that uses other people's computers as nodes and routes traffic along this network accordingly. The net effect of this is to give you a different IP address, which is the overall goal here.

Go to

and download and install it.

When using TOR, you will need to run both "Vidalia" and "Privoxy". When you're trying to log in and get an error, just right click on the little green onion icon and select "New Identity". It'll reroute your traffic so that your IP changes. It takes on average about twenty minutes to find an unbanned node.

Step 4: Download Proxifier

Unlike the previous software, Proxifier requires you to pay to use all of its features, but if you ask a Goon on the forums they can probably help you out. To download it go to

To configure Proxifier to work with Tor, set your options to the following in these screenshots:

Go to Proxy Settings, click add and put in the following settings.

Now go into Proxification Rules and put in the following settings.

Step 5: Download Fraps

While not absolutely necessary, Fraps is a good tool to have to document your raids and create hilarious videos to put on YouTube such as this one.

When raiding, you may want to go into the Gestures folder in your inventory and turn off the F9 (called DANCE 1) and F10 (called DANCE 2) dances by double clicking on them and unselecting activate. This is because F9 and F10 are the default Fraps video and screenshot buttons, and people start getting suspicious when they see you using the F10 dance often.

Step 6: Making SL Accounts

SL has blocked all third party account registration. So you have to register on their website.

Mail.com, Yahoo, and Hotmail accounts are all really easy to setup for e-mails, don't use temporary e-mail services because they're all banned anyway.

Here are some more general tips for registering SL accounts.

It is recommended that you register accounts in advance of raids, like say, register 5 to 15 accounts every three or five days and then store them, the password, and the e-mail used for the account in a text file somewhere secure on your computer. Make sure to indicate which accounts are ready to be used and which are banned so you don't get confused.
Don't use the same e-mail for every single account as that gives the Lindens a very easy way to disable all of them at once.
Try not to use e-mail addresses with common motifs, such as harbl0001@yahoo.com, harbl0002@whatever.com, as the Lindens will just ban harbl*@whatever.com. The caveat to this is if you discover an SLFag using something like that, do it to get them banned.

Oh no! I've been banned! What do I do!

You've now reached the next step of our journey through time and space. Consult

This tutorial seems great but I can't see the images for setting up Proxify... I wonder if I don't have permission to see them or if it's a bug. :(
