Wink
Hello everybody
I am trying to import a "sim surround porto coast" in Opensimulator
Objects/links have a size of 1024x1024x256 (I checked in the XML file)
I imported the XML file into Opensimulator, but the size is reduced to 256x256
How do I resize the object to 1024 ??
Unfortunately Firestorm does not allow me to increase the size

Thank you

@molibdeno, you said the size is 1024x1024x256, then it choose with uploading or import automatic the smallerst size
i dont know how you can change that, maybe with a resizer?

It's probaly cause it sculpty,and there's a max size prim.It is 1024 cause they used bigprims inword,so importing larger than 256m in opensims isn't allowed,just like larger than 64m in sl isn't allowed

@Lagertha
I tried to use a script to change the size but it doesn't work. I also tried to create a region in Opensim with size 1024x1024 but does not change the maximum limit of 256 for prim

@Necrok
In the free grids of Opensim there are large surround ... I found some, but I don't know how they have made these megaprim.
If you turn to SL you will find many sims with Suround 1024

You can get megaprims still,but means you gotta manually recreate the surround,which is a pain.They used to have no limit in opensims,and in SL there was an old exploit,but they fixed it,and opensim changed it to prevent the lag and other issues.So now,most won't allow to create more than a 256m prim,and sl can't make larger than 64m prims.

Thank you Necrok
Now I think I understand a little better
So I have to use an old version of Opensimulator and Viewer to import these Megaprim and take advantage of the exploit.
Alternatively I have to divide the sculpt on Blender

You can do it on your own opensimulator and change numbers in the OpenSim.ini.It still won't import right in SL,or opensims like digiworlds,osgrid,etc.They still have their own server setup to import only up to certain sizes.

Work!!! Emot-monar
I added to the Opensim.ini file:
"NonPhysicalPrimMax = 1024"  in the section [Startup]
When I amounted the XML file, it no longer reduces the size of the object anymor
Thank you
