Hello everyone, I'm completely new to this and would like to be helpful in exchange for the learning set in how exactly to use a copybot specifically to create an avatar. I don't know where to ask this specifically but what I tried to do so far, using Darkstorm v62.0, was copy another player's avatar as a XML file.

Then I tried to import said file which did put the wearables on my character but many of them were very chaotick, incomplete and messy. If anyone can give me pointers has to successfully copy wearables and use them for my avatar that would be very helpful, and I hope to be welcome on this forum.

When downloading Collada/Mesh files you must have, at minimum, a general understanding dealing with mesh items and 3D software like Blender, Avastar, or other programs. Collada/Mesh/DAE files are not beginner-friendly. First, you must have an account in Second Life that will allow you to upload Mesh files, see here -->

** Items that are XML or OXP you can simply upload them into the game via XML import or Linkset import (for .oxp files). (Beginner Friendly) All the textures will upload with the item.

You can host your content on the forum up to 10mb by using the attachment option in your post.

I'll be sure to take this in mind, since I joined I'm trying my best to follow this step by step guide despite my lack of tech experience in editing meshes, dae files, etc. I'll ask specific questions later if I absolutly don't know what I'm doing.
