To use UUIDS it's quite simple. I don't know about the other's viewer, so I'll explain using Firestorm.
When you're in your inventory, just do a right click, then New Clothes => New Tattoo or New Universal.

After that, just wear your tattoo. Right click on it then click on Edit. While being on Edit mode you'll see on the left pannel a sort of windows where you can click on it. If you do, It will open the texture pannel and you'll see that you can apply UUIDS on there. Just grabs them and copy paste, then apply. You're done :)
