Copybot Catwa Head

Maybe it is a stupid question. Someone can help me to copybot catwa head?  I know can export in DAE or XML or use MeshesSL. Personaly i prefer rig manual with blender and Avastar.  My problem it is static mesh head it is scale rotate or something alse difficult to rebuild.  There is samething i don't know?

When you export as Dae you lose all rigging and therefore all weights.
There is no Armature, so if you use preset "Open Sim Rigged"..... rigged to what?
You are simply making it difficult for yourself.
1. Export as xml.
2. Open MeshesSL and create RIGGED dae.
3. Import (Use zero for Low and Lowest LOD to avoid Materials error)
4. Yaaay! a rigged head in 3 minutes.

Your problem is just from not using MeshesSL.

Maybe you don't undestand well. 
  1. I export XML with HIDRASTORM 
  2. I use MeshesSL to rig
  3. If i import DAE generate to MeshessL to Blender
Problem:
  1. ​i can't export with Weight. I don't know why i use SL Opensim Rig preset, Majbe miss something in what generate.
  2. Also generate not so clear rig all peace have a skeletor 
Sometimes i must use Blender:
  • Fix majbe mesh with all like DEMO version. 
  • Or as you suggest to split mesh

I think Fantasy is trying to say that after getting rid of the Demo label in Blender, during the upload process the weight button can't be clicked.  I've seen all sorts of solutions in dealing with this, but none of the methods used can modify the mesh model.  In the older mesh with a clear skeleton this wasn't a problem (like the older catwa heads), but with the newer mesh (Lelutka and the catwa 4.5) that don't seem to have a visible skeleton after extraction to Blender, how is that done?  Thanks!

There is two different test:
  1.  Catwa Catya Mesh Head lates 4.5 Demo so it has hole to fix in blender
    1. I see there is someone do this but maybe has buy head
  2.  Slink Mesh Body 4.2.1 Redux (BOM Version)
    1. Give Import problem with Material
    2. I unable to export or fix with blender 
This is my test but you can replicate simply

Correct if import export mesh in blender lost in upload weigh button. I see skeleton in blender but i don't import weight or vertex group i see. So do not a good work MeshesSL. Also have problem with material sometimes.

make sure you check these boxes when you import a dae into blender (see Pic)
Also make sure you are using the latest MeshesSL (link in Sig)

I just bought the catya Head demo and wore the head. (there was no mesh head included in you rar file Fantasy)
Copied an XML in Hydrastorm. and logged out
Opened MeshesSL and created a DAE.
Imported into blender and deleted the demo sign and hit cntrl A (with only mesh selected) and applied all
Opened Singularity and imported into SL cost 27L

just for your info: solutions that other people have tried, but can't modify the mesh:
1. just copy a non-demo head, and upload without modifications, if you want to have eye lashes, you may need to split up the mesh.  And check the generate Normals, you can set the crease angle to 75 or higher, the higher it is the smoother the mesh
2. in meshesSL you can click on the mesh to see the sub-menu, you can uncheck the parts that you don't want to copy, like the demo sign
3. some people just set the demo sign and other things to transparent
I hope someone knows how to manipulate the newer mesh, I would love to learn the method

@chocoshake. Why would anyone set the demo sign to transparent, when you can just rez it to the ground and select edit linked parts. Select the sign, hit Cnrtl +Shift +L to unlink the sign and delete it. Alternatively open it in blender and delete it, select the mesh and hit  Cntrl +A to allpy all transformations, so it doesnt upload like a pile of mesh by as it should be seen.
