Yes, you get the items by posting a reply, more or less saying thank you to the person who uploaded it, however if you take too many items without sharing anything you get restricted and then banned. So try to upload at least 1 item for every 1 thing you plan on downloading then everything is square.
Ah but then again VIP members can just download without replying or sharing Just sayin' >___>
