The errors you report suggest that the unicode characters that you use, got desynchronized - can happen during manual modification of unicode characters.
If you don't modify manually the script and still get issues:

first of all, delete the mesh object's copy you rezzed and rez fresh one. If you used damaged script on the object, the object becomes useless - you need to rez fresh copy. 

If it doesn't help either, send me the .mxp file of the project and i will examine it. (you generate mxp by click export button)

PS: "[00:39] Warning: the root prim of the new linkset has changed." this message is natural as you deleted the first two prims. The first prim is the root prim - if you deleted it it is normal that it has changed :D
But it still should work - the script is designed to be able to handle root prim's change

Great tool! Thanks! I got the .dae it uploads back in SL, but any import in 3d soft has NO bones. Ideas? Thank you for your time!

so i have one problem that i cant overcome, can i somehow link demos hud with uploaded mesh?

I am glad you like the program :)
MeshFix doesn't include skeleton data to dae files - use Mesh Helper or MeshesSL for bone data.

You can not link demos huds with uploaded mesh because uploaded mesh doesn't have proper corresponding scripts.
BUT the script you generate can act like a HUD itsself. You can read more about it in the manual in appliers section.
It can allow you to change textures/alphas and other face attributes of stuff with chat commands.

Thank you so much for this. I don't expect I'll be using it a ton, but it was exactly what I needed in an emergency and it worked perfectly. Love how open the whole process is too. It was nice to be able to skip the later steps when I didn't really need them. Thanks again!

Do you NEED hydrastorm to save xml's for this? curious since hydrastorm doesn't let you login anymore

It should work with darkstorm too. But hydra does let you login, you just need to edit one xml file  (check in general discussions forum) . Eventually try to specify different hydrastorm version in login spoof.

It is possible to login with Hydra, just look for fsdata.xml somewhere in windowsdrive/users/blabla/Firestorm path and delete it. Is that file that causes Hydra to block login. Everytime you run regular Firestorm that file will be created again. Just repeat delete before running Hydra again.

i'm...a big dummy so i don'tk now how to give rep or make any of this stuff work, but for the people who do, thank you for the hard work. i wish i understood how to do anything but every time i try i can't find anything dfskgsdkfg how do i even get started if i don't know how, i keep trying to read stuff but my comprehension is like 2% lol i can rip skins, body shapes, animations, but that's it. spoofing creator to make use of the meshes? (does it even keep rigging?) no idea
