Texturing LeLutka Head - sarayanna - 02-10-2023

Hello,
If i upload a LeLutka head, unlink it inworld and wear only the head, then the texturing is all right.
But how do i texture all the othe parts? (ESL, ESR, Lips, Hole, HoleHD). If i texture those parts with the head texture it looks terrible.

Greetings Sarayanna.

If I add Leashes (ESR an ESL) and I texture it it looks like this:

Lips work.

hello,
All these textures are applied by hud on the front parts of the face or you will have to drag them one by one by selecting the right part. On the mesh of the head you have extra parts which are HD and only go there. This is why you see a misplaced eyelash (your gyazo).

The problem is all those parts are rigged. I cant move ore scale them individually. And the demo Hud of LeLutka doesn`t work with the uplpaded head. It says: "wear your head first". So I don`t relly understood how I can fix this. I bought eye leashes also from Marketplace for LeLutka. If i wear them hey are invisible. As you said right already those are appliers. But they don`t work with an uploaded head.

hello sarayanna,
If it's a head that you imported into SL, then it's full on SL. You can therefore from the editor, even if the head is rigged, play with all the faces by checking Edit linked and Face and clicking on the small arrows you will see at this time that you can texture any part .

@raphaels, yes I know that any face group of the head can be textured (ears, lips, eye leashes and so on). The problem is that if I texture the eye leashes it doesn`t look good. I uploaded the eye leashes unrigged and adjusted them. Very tricky, a lot of work but at the end the result was not perfect but aceptable.
If I could buy extra leashes working with the uploaded head, that would be great, but I didn`t find any.

Greetings Sarayanna.

The demo lelutka hud does work fine with the uploaded head. But you have to put demo scripts from demo lelutka to the uploaded head. And not just head, also eyes, teeth and other stuff. You have to also copy animations from the demo head if you want to use animated features of the head. Also you have to make sure all names of the prims (also child prims) of the uploaded head are the same - the uploader messes up the name of the root prim - so you often end up with having two prims with same name and one prim name is actually missing ^^. Also remember to select "Separate materials for all faces" in mesh helper, otherwise your head's faces will be broken. You may also consider using TexFix tool:

, especially that 2.0 version will be released soon.
