Loosing rig by importing to blender - sarayanna - 11-29-2022

Hi,
I wanted to share this:

the .dae was not ok, so I imported it to blender and exported it as .dae.
It was still not ok
I imported it to blender again and exported it as .obj, then I imorted the .obj and exported it as .dae.
Now the file  was ok but it lost its rigging.
Here is my question. Is it possible to get the paint weights of a Maitreya mesh body from somewhere?
At the Legacy body you have it in the dev.kid.
I can rig it to the avastar body but I dont think that its working very well with  a Maitreya body.

Greetings

How did you export it?

Did you use Mesh Helper?
OBJ is static mesh, and does not hold skeletons. So as soon as you turned it into an OBJ it instantly removed the skeleton/Weights from it.

You can get the dev kit here on my website

Is it possible to get he paint weights of a Maitreya body from somewhere to copy the weights to cloths? Paint weighting is something I am not good in.
