Hello everyone,
I'd like to share some textures that I already have in world here on the forums. Can anyone walk me through the steps of getting the images from SL to my hard drive then here? Sorry for the newb question, but we all were newbs once and sharing is caring :) Thanks,

Sure. You have two options here. The first option is to right click on the folder with the textures and select save as from the menu, choose the folder that you want to save the textures in and they will be downloaded as .tga files. However, doing it this way will only save the texture and we would have to pay L$10 to re upload them.
Option two is what we want here. Its time consuming but it works. Right click on the texture you want to share, choose the Copy Asset UUID. Now right click on the texture again and choose save as, paste the UUID as the texture name and save it to your computer.
When you are done zip up your textures and post them. Hope this helped :)

I've seen some posts under the texture section and people just listed the UUID number of the textures. This is less time consuming, but how do you use just the number to make the texture appear in world?
