Question: should I be using an alt if I want to rip stuff from my own avatar/inventory? Like, stuff I've bought off the Marketplace?

I skimmed the rules and stuff, and I wasn't able to get any sort of solid answer there, hence me asking. Additionally I believe my question was misinterpreted: I'm asking if I should use an alt to rip stuff I bought on my main, or would I be safe in using my main to rip from itself?
Then again, I also would like to ask if there are any specific locations that are "safer" to rip in, or if it's equally risky across the entire world map.
