[split] How to copybot - kittycatcrash - 07-22-2021
hi,
I am new to all this but could either someone explain or point me in the right direction?
So I want to copy bot usable items for the farming game that is on sl. baskets and meat and stuff. How do I make them into physical items I can use? I want this for myself personally, not to sell or make money from. But im tired of wasting real life money to buy these items.

It is unlikely that you can do what you're wanting.
While you could undoutably copy the *mesh* ( ie: the thing you see in world) you won't be able to copy the script, and it's the script inside which provides the actual *function* of the farming item.
My experience with 'farming systems' in SL is that they all communicate back to a central ( non SL ) server, and the scripts themselves provide energy, harvests, distribution of new / combines / resulting items etc etc etc..
So, while you could - for instance - copy a water barrel.. And have a water barrel for you to res out on your own land, it's dumb. It has no script - click it and nothing happens. Since you cannot copy the scripts, it cannot participate in the farming system itself.
