All of a sudden I see Second Life notifications here. IMO it clutters up the searches when looking for new threads and I'm not here to get Second Life notifcations that i can get there.
I'm not trying to be a butt about it, but I"m curious as to why it is showing up?

The forum isn't tied to your SL account so I'd be curious to see a screenshot?
