I updated avastar with this new version (thank you !) and i saw a little message in the avastar tab that say rig version is outdated (or something that) so i saw also the "update rig" button and ... i clicked it :/
My skeleton changed to the new bento skeleton set and it was a mistake because i cannot now export my meshes to sl (error uploading blablabla wings bones unknow blabla^^)
conclusion : don't update rig now lol

Hello Lolo, this should no longer be an issue since SL now officially supports the Bento skeleton. However, if you are still experiencing export issues please try the following.

Before rigging, select the rig, enter Pose mode, under the Rigging tab and below, "Active Deform Bones" click the icon to the right of, "Deform Bones" it should then turn a darker shade indicating it is active, select the, "SL" button and below that in, "Bone Settings" you can then disable and / or enable the different parts to the rig you want to rig the mesh to. The Bento bone sets are disabled by clicking the, "Disable" button next to, "Ext"... Additionally, if you aim to rig with fitted mesh, be sure to enable both, "SL" and, "Vol"... You then rig as per your preference, select the mesh and under the, "Fitting" tab, select the drop down arrow and choose, "Fully Fitted"...

Hope that nudges you in the right direction. (That's how it works in 2.0.2, I have not looked at 2.0.4 yet but I have strong sense that they would not have changed any of that yet again and so soon)

All the best,
C.I

Okay, I will make this easy.

Go to your blender directory, ( Right click, hit open file location)
Make sure you're in the actual folder not the icon folder ( my computer creates to areas where it sits)

Once you're in the original Folder, Drag the .Zip file into the directory.

now open blender> File >Go to User Settings > Find load from location > Find the Blender Directory> Click on the .Zip file > Load > Save user preferences.

I hope this helps and if you have any other questions I will answer to the best of my abilities, THANK YOU BTW! Zerothe10th!
