When the boy took a peek inside, Kizer said, he saw a human leg.
According to witnesses speaking to the station WGN, the victim, who has not been named, was a black woman who appeared to be in her 20s. She did not have any clothes on.
‘Out here, everybody gets shot. We’re used to people getting shot and killed, but somebody being in a suitcase?’ Kizer told CBS Chicago.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office was expected to perform an autopsy on the body Monday to determine the cause of death.
