Is there a way to lock myself in place or will it always send me home?
The security orbs on sim or private parcels that boot you out of the region or send you home, can it be turned off? And if so, how?
@dweamy,
i bring you two questions together you questions are about the same [topic
and it was in the wrong forum

first:
No you can't lock yourself in a place what is not yours, and has a orb or security
they will send you always to your home, or if you dont have a home you will log out (crash)

second:
no you can't because they are private security/orb, people have their own settings, you can click on it as much as you want but it will never go out, if they didnt had a orb, then most using banlines
Theres a way to stay in the land even being kicked, but need to be a new account and the land need to be the first place that you will TP after the first landing, when you do it that island will be your home and when the kick comes you will stay there because there are your home, but of course theres some implications, your will pratically be locked at borders or the landing point, but depending what you are trying to do this is good enough.
@Fulincio, its not her/his home anymore
and if it was they old home place they land there but will get a eject,
land there got a eject land there till you will be crazy
 the new account will have the same problem, 1 time you will be in,
next time when they comes they got also a eject

the only thing what they can do,
look on the map and try to land close
coool! This seems very useful when the orb is on.
