I've been trying with no success to do this so was wondering if anyone has a tutorial? I know there's one on here but the hair used is a bit dated and I'm guessing doesn't behave the same way, thanks.
@ghdssgghf, you can only export it with a copybot viewer, best is wear the demo, export xml file
it should be a dae file you must use the Meshessl or MeshHelper 1.7 depence what viewer you using
all of this you can find in the forum just use the search,
one of this tool will make dae files rigged or/and unrigged,
this dae file you must upload in second life.
But to upload Mesh to secondlife you must have payment info used and linden dollars on your account
I've already done this but when i reupload the hair it doesn't sit on the head the same way as the demo does
you said: (but the hair used is a bit dated) then it must be or sculpt, or just prim hair,
i tought it was mesh, then you must export the xml file first, then import the xml file
sculpt and prims he will build the hair, and old hair you wear on your skull,
just add to your skull, or nose can be on any places but you must pull it then to your head
Sorry I meant the hair that the person in the guide on this website used is dated hair. The hair I want to copy is the newer DOUX hair
i can't do anything if i dont know what hair or what you try to do,
i need pictures,
and the link from the other hair
for example this hair, I know how to export and remove demo signs in blender but i don't know what else I need to do to get it to work properly in second life when uploading (Like do i need to rig it or something ?) [Image: 52397758550_715871a35e_h.jpg]

but you took a demo, add that hair look where you wear it
if its on you right hand yes then you must rigged it
the xml file must be rigged, depence what viewer you used
or MeshesSL Darkstorm or Revelator
or Mesh Helper Hydra
hi,
ripping Hair like this you shows, isnt a thing for Newbies, because its complicated to ripp. This Hair have multipple Parts at once for different Layers and for different Hairstyles. All parts together have a to much Verticies count to Upload to SL, and this means you have to separate the Hairstyles and the different Layers.

Wether not enough, i bet Doux have a copy protection in their uploaded rigged Mesh, which have also to break or fix.
If you are not a good experienced self Meshcreator, you better become one.
