Simply wear the beach chair from your inventory. It attaches to your pelvis and will animate you in a sitting animation while worn. Keep your AO off, and you can move around while wearing the chair without stopping the sitting animation.

Due to differing avatar sizes you may have to adjust the position of the chair while wearing it.
